Right, sorry. I'm on my second time listening to that song. Make that the third time now. I love Grease. I was very excited when I saw that a group at the talent show would be performing Summer Nights. But, alas... It was not very good. I'll give them points for trying. They seem like very nice people. The thing is... In the actual song, there are more than two people singing. There are at the very least three other girls and three other guys singing with Sandy and Danny. Two people cannot possibly cover, what... Eight parts? These lovely people tried, but... They were not successful. It made me sad. They had no energy, no spark. Summer Nights needs energy.

*sigh*

The other acts weren't that bad. I quite liked a number of them. I got to run a spotlight. Kate was my light buddy, and Alicia and Ryan had the other one. Spotlights are hot. And mine was twitchy, mostly because I was twitchy. It was much better when Kate was running it, and I was, umm... "supervising." Well, actually, Alicia and I directed which way they should shift the lights. Great fun, really.

One of my plaza friends is trying to engage me in a historical debate at the moment. He is telling me that Theodora was a heretic. (He's Catholic.) Bah! Theodora was brilliant! Here is part of the conversation, for your amusement:
