Ramblings

Sundays are boring boring boring. All there is to do is homework. Homework that's been put off the rest of the week, and now you have no choice but to do it otherwise you deserve to have your teachers execute you by firing squad. (Yes, that was purposely a run-on sentence. Screw grammar.) I think the WWI chapter is getting to me with all of these violent thoughts... I decided that it must be the German in me that desires world domination. Just look at Germany.

Church this evening was interesting. I felt like a complete hypocrite yet again. It was, however, a lovely time for quiet thought. Very relaxing. Comfortable pew, soothing music, soothing voice of the pastor, slightly tired me, and... Oops! Was I supposed to stay awake? I remember something about feet washing. Hmm. Wonder what it was.

So, usually on Sundays there are good things on the History Channel. I watched a bit of Josh this morning, but then had to go to homework. I tuned into the tv guide with the specific purpose of clicking onto the History Channel.
"I bet there's something good on the History Channel!"

A few seconds later: "Ooh... Pirates of the Caribbean."
*click, brain turns off as I stare at Johnny Depp and watch the amazing pirates*
"Down to the depths with whatever madmen thought up 'Parley!'"
"That would be the French."
Good old French. Always there to amuse me.

It also occurred to me today that in exactly one week I will be 19. God, I'm old. I can feel the arthritis setting in already. Oh! Is that a grey hair? It might be!

Things I Would Like for My Birthday:
-World Domination
Or
-A small country to "occupy and administer" as my own. (Euro fans will recognize that one.)
-College to magically pay for itself.
Or
-The government to declare all college education is free.
Or
-Someone to worry about financial aid and loans for me. (My brain doesn't work that way.)
In the event that you cannot provide any of the above-listed things, I will accept the following:
-Creative gifts
-Something along the lines of "surprise me."
If those, too, prove impossible, I will, with greatest reluctance, accept the following:
-Shiny objects (Also included in this category are bright, sparkly, and generally "Ooh, pretty" objects.)
-Books (Preferably not one I already have. Good luck.)
-Chocolate
-Anything that isn't a vegetable. Especially not lettuce. I hate lettuce.

Yes, I will try to find you something marvelous and literary that you do not already own this year.... ;D

Do I still get points for Aesop?

    This year... marvelous, marvelous, marvelous.

    HOOK was also on.
It was a great day for pirates.
It was a better day for Peter Pan.

You don't have to get me anything, Sara. And yes, you get points for Aesop! I love Aesop.

I almost watched Hook, but didn't...
